I’ve been throwing around ideas for new year resolutions and decided to adopt my own word for 2013, a la Ali Edwards. My one little word for 2013 is “DO.” Such a simple word, but for me it is perfect. I have always been one of those people who has a long to-do list running through my head; always trying to play catch up or say “Yes, I’ll get to that one of these days.” Well, I’m tired of living life that way and am ready to stop planning things and just do them!
So, what exactly is it that I need to do in 2013? These are the things that come to mind:
- Hit my goal weight and be proud to wear a bikini.
- Break my nail biting habit.
- Get caught up with my scrapbooking, but more specifically, Decker’s baby book.
- Decorate the walls of our house.
- Reduce clutter.
- Grow my law practice.
Each of these items can be broken down into more concrete goals, but for now, this is my collection of new year resolutions. As the year goes along, I’m excited to update my progress.
