project life.
For the longest time I have put off getting started on Decker’s baby book, but I finally made it happen! It’s a good thing, considering the fact that he turned two in December. I knew that I wanted a method of scrapbooking that was simple and wouldn’t take too much time. While I think embellished layouts are beautiful, my main goal is to get the photos and journaling in print.
Enter Project Life. It is a very simple method of scrapbooking, but still allows for cute layouts and a bit of creativity. To further my quest of keeping clutter and “stuff” to a minimum, I opted to get the digital version of the Project Life Baby Edition for Him. I plan on having the pages printed in 8×8 size through Persnickety Prints and then slipping them into page protectors in an album.
My main challenge right now is figuring out how to tackle catching up on two years worth of photos and memories. Luckily, I kept a blog where I recorded milestones and memories and have been referring to that as I go through my photos. My goal is to get at least 5 catch up pages done per week, while also keeping current with scrapping everything from this point forward.

I also downloaded the Clementine Core Kit and will be using it for my 2013 Project Life, although I am not sure I will do layouts each week.
I’m looking forward to sharing my layouts as I move along this year.
I have a project life kit (paper version) and completed through May a few years ago before I fizzled out–I really want to get back into it though! I think it’s agreat option for baby books!
Laura, do it! I think that is the biggest challenge…fitting it in with everything else. But I know I will be so happy I did it later on!
